Hey everyone,
I know that I haven't been here very long, but I just had to share. My wife and I just found out that we're going to be having a little girl. Her name is going to be Raven Cheyenne, and she will be arriving the first of April.

It does make shopping for baby things so much easier and the decorating too. The days are going to go by quickly and April will be here before you know it.

It sure does, and considering I already had a huge list of stuff I wanted to get, I think it's going to get bigger

I know, but luckily my wife and I have to little helpers. Two of our dogs (Storm and Kahn) both like to herd things. My wife's friends bring thier little ones over and those two keep them close by at all times. All you have to tell them is to go get 'em and they'll steer them right to you. It's very fun to watch. But, it is no replacement for good parenting.

Congrats big time to the both of you newby, life will certainly change come springtime. Don't forget to give your dogs a bit of extra attention, they can easily feel left out. Great names you have chosen. Be sure to make sure the little Mrs. gets lots of rest, and you as well.

PDG I hope she is gifted since she will be an Aries. I just hope she doesn't get some of the darkside of the sign. Hot-temper and being a daredevil, I just don't think my heart can take that. I should know I put my parents through it so long ago. As I recall my mother says I owe her thousands of dollars for all the hair coloring products she had to buy.

I had a dream when I was young that I had a little girl with long brown hair- she looked like an angel.
My first pregnancy I bought beautiful little dresses, booties and hats-
It was a blond boy, 10 lb.
I brought him home in a dress
My second pregnancy-4 years later- I bought beautiful little dresses, booties and hats-
It was a blond boy, 9 lb.
I brought him home in a dress.
My third pregnancy I finally had her-
And she turned out to look just as she had in that dream.
I told her- "It's about time, look at all the money I wasted on those dresses".

Congrats to you and your wife Newby!!! I'm going to be a grandmother (OMG! I can't believe it. I'm not that old. I refuse to grow up. :) ).
My daughter is expecting a boy mid March. He will be named after all the grandparents "Jaren Paul".
And yes, we have been shopping for all the little boy things and I have found there isn't near as much for boys as for the girls. We spent 2 hours at Toys R US last night registering. Soooooo much fun. :)
