View Full Version : Critique an Actual Ad...
Ok, here's the idea...take a live running ad from any magazine (perferably a good one) and critique it. That way, I can learn from what others see and vice versa. Sound like a good idea? I just thought of this and it sounds like fun! :D

Hey, you're absolutely right! We could actually post a poll and put up horrible and good ones. Didn't think of that. ;)

I don't have any magazines so I'll have to rely on you guys to post the ads...but I'm in too! Great idea, PDG!
Don't worry, I have 2 year's free subscriptions to Stuff and Maxim. And some good ones to PRINT and HOW. I'll make sure to post the good with the bad :)

That's a good point. It's like having a hollywood actress go out and pimp herself for $20 per night to pay the cable bill. Oh wait...those are called endorsements.

I know I shouldn't be so snobbish, especially as I'm not the world's greatest PS artist but this could extend to some of the Camera magazines' tutorials too.
Damn! I used to collect all the scans from Playboy, but the guy never scanned the ads :( LOL
I don't have a scanner either.
Talking of ads have any of you seen the current KFC ad with all those guys dressed up in .... ..... ..... ((5,4,4) fill in the missing words)
