Hello....
Just thought i'd share the fact that i'm having an absolutely fantastic time playing in paintshop at the moment!
Yaaaaaaaaaaaayyy! This is SOOO great!!!
I'm messing around with the fairy from my avatar picture, tarting her up and making improvments and just generally having a play about with it - the blending and shading is deliciously fun and satisfying to do!! And having an UNDO button....how many times have i wished for one of those when actually painting?!?
*THUD*
Hear that?!? That was me finally arriving in the 21st century! :)
I really do like this - having all the fun of doing a painting and then getting to tweak it like this without worrying about spoiling anything and getting subtle shading that i can never get right when actually painting....it's a nice balence - best of both worlds!
Sorry, it's pathetic i know....but just wanted to share my daft joy anyway!

Wait till you get as far as layers and masks and all the other wonderful aspects of Paintshop Pro that you've yet to discover! You'll wonder how you ever managed without it...:)
Go for it!
It's a whole new world of art .... :)
Sometimes I fear going back to the Airbrush because, unfortunately, there is no CTRL-Z.
I will, however, pound that fear into oblivion. And as soon as I get back to doing some Airbrush art very soon, you guys'll be the first to see. ;)

I think my fairy has her (still rather out of proportion) fingers crossed that i work all this out soon - she's just had one leg amputated then reattatched and i've just realised i still haven't got round to giving her her nose back - poor little thing! :)
