It's self installing! Just go http://update.mozilla.org/themes/?application={ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384} (with Firefox ofcourse)....

Click on the theme you like and click "Install". Firefox should automatically install it.

Then close and restart Firefox to see the changes applied.

Oh and go to Tools...Themes and make sure it's activated too.

I answered your question in the other forum. Patience is virtue...especially at 2:19am(GMT-5) when most people are sleeping ;)

alrighty. im on that right now, but when i click "install" nothing happens. i opened up the Themes window after about a billion install clicks, and the only theme in there is the default one. *sigh* :(

What's your take on Windowblinds? Is it smooth to install? Any quirks you've noticed? I've been thinking about getting that.

I used to dislike it, very flakey when skinning apps. It's more refined now, I bought the Objectdesktop subscription last night - $49 gets you the whole suite.

Which is $3451 cheaper than buying a Mac :)

I'm fiddling with StylesXP. I got the Panther look going on right now. I had forgotten about all this cool stuff :D

I did use StyleXP for a while, I suppose I went for Stardock because they're more established.

I used Windowblinds a lot until just recently. I always liked being able to pick from so many different themes and styles. It just seemed that over the last month or so it started getting really choppy when I changed skins...and it seemed to take FOREVER to change them. Dunno why it suddenly started giving me problems...but I finally just uninstalled it.

And for Trin's information, it cost me more for the Windowblinds than it's gonna cost me for the Mac...:D

Changing the subject (back to the original topic :) ) - Firefox is now at version 1 final, not pre-release.

I'm still not a full Firefox fan. It has some really nice features...and seems fast for the most part...but I have noticed that there are times when it tends to hang an awful long time...and even times out during the shortest page changes. I thought it was my cable...but when I repeated the procedure in IE, it went fine.

Same here, I often get timeouts on PA as well as other sites. 1.0PR continuously crashed on PA when switching pages, although I suspect that's something to do with my setup here, as I don't have that problem at work.
