Thanks PDG. Hey I was wondering - the poem states "Back into the chamber turning, all my sour within me burning". Did they mean to write "soul"? looks like a typo, just wondering.

I don't think so. The R and L's are too far apart on the keyboard...lol. But I'll look into it.
all my sour within me burning".
"Sour" seems right here - probably referring to a sour pit of the stomach or heartburn - angst translating into a physical effect. Sound likely?

I think sour is a synonym for bitterness, not sure but it fits well if you replace sour with bitterness.

Though sour might fit, it is a typo. Actually it is more than likely a scanning error where the ocr picked up the 'l' as an 'r'. Since sour is a word the spellcheck program would bypass it.
The line should read: "Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning."

As long as we're on the subject of spelling the name should be Edgar Allan (not Allen) Poe.
I, umm, 'oops'. Looks like someone fixed it up. Thank ya!
