Matching Textures and Coloring in photoshop

Hey all,

I went looking through the old contest and had a question. How did you get the muppet materpieces to blend so nicley. Is it a matter of blending layers or is there something else??

It's a juggling act of sorts. Some people find "Image...Adjustments...Match Color" method very good.

Others are firm believers in messing with the hue/saturation, color and contrast to match it up.

As for textures, sometimes adding some grain or noise from the filters menu or even some canvas texture could help out.
