Vote to all images?

well, i think it should be a voting system for out of contest images aswell, and it will come a "top images" page for the normal gallerie aswell, so kids who cant afford using 100's of dollars on credits have a bether chancec on getting on top images, as most people dont get there on their first entry.

Sorry...Top Images will ALWAYS be determined by the highest vote average. That's why they are called TOP images. They were voted highest by the voters. And FYI, you don't have to buy hundreds of dollars in credits. You were given 100 credits when you joined, and all you have to do to add to that is win a contest. It's quality of image that gets an image into the Top Images Gallery...not the credits.

I see where you're going with this. Credits don't really cost all that much, but there is still the factor of kids convincing parents to let them buy over the "Internet." I don't know about breaking contests into separate divisions though. That means less entries, and more winners. And if a someone got a trophy just because they happened to submit to the devision of the contest with the least number of entries, (as opposed to the paying/nonpaying portion that has more entries for the same contest) it wouldn't feel like much of a victory. Especially if the other person who won first place has a better image. I hope that all makes sense. I do understand what you are talking about though.

Ooh! while we're on about the 'top images', shouldn't the 'Hall of Fame' be ranked by highest average score too now, to eliminate the time factor?

The Hall of Fame is determined by the number of aggregate wins in the contests. It wouldn't be fair for a person to enter one contest with a very high average and be at the top of the HOF when there are others who have won several contests and participated more frequently, but maybe don't have as high an average. The Top Images gallery is for those single entries that have the high averages.

I think you missunderstood me.
i mean that the non-contest entrants also got votes, and it was made a non-contest Top Images Gallery.

Okay, I didn't understand what you'd said, sorry. But, my answer remains the same. Top Gallery images will only be taken from the contests...sorry.

ok, but can you atleast add a voting system to the images so, it gets the 1-10 scale under it, and when you vote it shows the average vote.
