The first few are from my car.. the pics don't do it justice for the deep burning orange color the clouds had.
The rest are from the parking lot at the mall. hehehe

Those are gorgeous, fray! I especially love the one right in the middle...with the clouds kind of broken up...very dramatic!

The really freaky part is if you stare at them long enough you can see something really odd.

Great photos Fray.

Thanks! :]

I kept driving around the mall looking for the most open space I could find to take the pic from... I like taking pics, fun little hobby thing. I might even take a class one of these days when I get some time... (bwahahaha! ...free time... lol!)

Great sunset pics fray. My fav is the first one. The glow in the photo seems to have an emotion of its own.

Nice shots Fray, almost looks like a bit of a storm could be approaching

Hey Fray, where you from that you see such great sunsets? We get some gorgeous ones out here in Az...especially today--we had a huge dust storm and downpour. The sky was orange-yellow with really neat grey clouds.

The best one I've seen was at about 7pm in March or so of this year--during a big dust storm the sky turned bright orange and it warped the moon's color to a reddish color. Mix that with the steel grey clouds--Just awesome...

Course it wasn't great walking horses back and forth today through the mud from the barns to the main arena....explaining my "kind-of" absence--I was working a huge thoroughbred auction for the past three days. Fun fun!

burndog - yeah, the 'storm' was clearing. (we don't really have storms, just sometimes when it rains harder than people around here like... ) ;)

sturi - i'm in california, the big desert next to the ocean, south of Los Angeles. It rains about 10 days out of the year. (I do miss the weather from Minnesota, except the cold.) :]

I thought that sky looked familiar. ;)

It certainly pays to keep a camera around at all times. Never know what you might see. :)

I took some great sunset pics a few weeks ago....had to hold the camera out the window and snap pics as I was driving down the road. LOL
