Hey there, I made some custom brushes while I was using the default brushes. I changed to natural brushes and then when I went back to the default brushes - my brushes that I had made weren't there anymore. I clicked on "reset brushes" thinking that I was safe. I guess I wasn't. Is there anyway I can get them back or how do I save them so I don't loose them? thanks.

Sam,
Reset brushes will put the brushes back to the default set, deleting any custom brushes you had created. Unfortunately there's no way to get them back.
The way to avoid losing your custom brushes is to use the Preset Manager (Edit menu). Change to the brushes and hold down Shift to select all your brushes, then click Save Set. If you save the set into the Brushes folder in Presets, the next time you launch PS, the brushes will appear in the pop up list so you can load them whenever you want. Then it's okay to use Rset Brushes, since you can always load in your custom set

Great! Thank you canuck. Luckily, I had only created 6 brushes so its not that big of a deal that I lost them. I just don't want to loose any more if I make any. I appreciate your help. Thank's again.
