Avatar Creator!

I don't know if this has been done before, but at least for the newbees, a contest on custom avatars would be pretty cool. As I'm only using one that was already provided. It could be illustration or photo but I think illustrated would be best. Just a quick question to anyone, how do you get your avatars animated???

Simple, those are hand made ones called "animated gif" (.gif files)
uploaded in the preferences

I used "Imageready" but there must be free progs to do that on the web.
