Somethings Not Right Here

The button that shows wether or not I've read a thread gets extinguished once I've read the thread and backed out step by step (not if I jump straight out though)

Now when I leave the site for as long as I can bear it the lights are out. But (before the cold turkey sets in) when I come back all those lights I'd previously extinguished are back on .... so I'm assuming I'm being fed a stale cookie or something.

I think the cookie resets/disappears after you close the browser window. I just closed a window and opened another one and -poof- all the threads I had read, were new again with no recent posts.

Another problem I've noticed is when there are more than one active unread threads in a forum and I read one of them come back out to the forum and find the other thread also now shows as read rather than unread.

Dang...I wish I had your problem! I can't get mine to shut off at all! I can read a forum three times and the suckers still don't shut off...LOL!

I've found I have to back out one level at a time, that seems to work .... until now when it works too well! LOL

Cookies and New posts appear to be fixed for me now. When I leave and come back, only true new posts are appearing. Yippee!

Edit: maybe not. Gotta keep testing. Just had the General pop up unread after reading it. Sorry :(
