Only $3,000 at Amazon.com ......hmmmmm what's that in real money ..... 3000/1.8 = £1,666.67.

Oh yeah? Well I use a Gateway 350PII, with a big 6 gb hard drive and 194 ram! Beat that! :D

You're always a step ahead jolt! Does it fly or what??? Oh i can't wait! I've been begging for the ok from the wife for a while. I have a chance to maybe split my workweek half onsite and half from home so it's become time. My G4 has been on its last leg for a while.

it flies :) I've got 2gb RAM in it and other than that it's stock. I had a dual 867 G4 before the G5 and the G5 is way ahead of the G4. Things boot so damn fast and the multithreading is a lot quicker as well. You will not be disappointed. Just remember if you use a scratch disk (not a partition) it takes the serial ata drives, you can't throw in the drive from your G4, unless you specified your order to allow that.

Sorry, can't match that. I know Axiom uses a ludicrously under-powered PC for his PS work, I'd be banging my head against a wall.

:( they sold my refurb dual out from under me!!!!! I missed my chance. I got a brand new g5 for the same price, just not a dual processor. I upgraded to over a gig of ram though :)
