Hello just signed up here, mainly using photoshop, i'm in the middle of doing my website, www.christoefar.com, can you tell me what you think? That would be cool.
Cheers
Welcome! So far the outline looks good. No complaints at all. The speed, though, is a bit slow loading. Seems like it's on your host's end though since your images aren't that big. Just fyi...good work though!

Welcome Chris, so far so good on your website, just one small thing, I believe it should be "Dave and I" and not Dave and me.

Welcome, Chris. Hopefully we'll get to see some of your PS skills showing up in our contests soon! Your website looks good so far...very clean format.
Hey chris,
Welcome to PA! I'm sure you're going to like it here! Great avatar, btw.
Here are some thoughts about your web page:
I like the easy navigation. Big, easy to read buttons are always nice. Are they going to have different rollover states? Colored maybe?
I do like the wavy lines- nice way to break up a static box!
I can't say I'm wild about the grid or the font for "the home page of..." I like the scan line look, but maybe bring the grid down a bit or make it less thick and robust.
Hope that helps!

Cumbria, can't even get broadband yet!!!
its not very good.
Ahhh but it's a beautiful area ..... huge advantage to you! :)
Dave are you going on a PA campaign in the UK or what? New UK members are popping up all over the place! Sweet!
You have to tell me what those cryptic adresses mean: Like EC1. What the...?

-B
You have zip codes we have post codes. The first couple of letters of the postcode are the town or city except in London, the numbers and letters following the first letters are just smaller and smaller divisions of the area .....
So EC actually is an area of London (East Central) sub-district 1 the next few leeters would give you a block within a street then all you need is th house number.
I live in Birmingham, so my post code begins with "B", I'm in district 42 and the last part of the code 2DJ identifies the small road I live in.
So tell me zip codes are any different? They're far more cryptic in reality :)

hiho chris :)
welcome to the site, i´m sure you will like it here a lot
as to your page, nice colors, a little bit slow loading and the thing i do not like so much is the big header though, because the content of the site has not enough place to show up on a normal monitor, the relation between header and content should at least be 1/3 : 2/3
the user woudn´t not always like to scroll down for reading :)

I pay $6.95 a month for all my hosting, only set it up a few weeks ago, www.greengardenhosting.com is where I get it from, I struggle to know when my webpage loads slow, because I have a dial up, all web pages are slow.
I think I might do the buttons the same as the top ones, thankx for that!
Am I able to upload pictures on this site, so that everyone can see them here?, or will I have to have them on my site and post links.
Cheers

Welcome to PA Chris. :)
Stalkers? After Dave? hee hee I knew it would happen sooner or later. :p

COOL! Thanks for the explanation, Dave! You're right- zip codes mean nothing to the average person. Giving you a zip code would not be of any use for figuring out where the address is.
Three San Diego zip codes: 92105, 92106, 92107
92105 is about 15 minutes away from 92106 on the freeway. That's about as precise an explanation I can give for the numbers!

-B
The nice thing about zip codes is that there are online maps that will show you precisely where it is as long as you've some idea of the State, it's not quite there online with UK postcodes (I think the site it was on went bust) .
Hey chris Im a newbie too,but welcome anyways hehe. your site looks good, nice icons :)
