Web Comic Carachter

i wanna start my won web comic, but i am not sure about the carachter for it.
i made one dude, called bob.
Heres the first thing i made of him.
Anyhow, anyone have some kewl ideas for the first comic, i have a hard time comic up with sumthin.

Hey TCD, I'm not much at making comics, but I do like Bob, and I think that is a great name for him. His expressoin (especially his eyes) make him look pretty laid back.

As far as what to do, I think to start with, Bob should introduce himself to your audience. He should let us know a bit about him. Then possibly he could tell you about his family and friends. This way you can slowly introduce more characters. Like I said earlier, I have no experience in this, but I would recommend limiting your characters to a few to start with to keep things as simple as possible.

I think it would be better to let people know more about a few characters than just a bit of info about lots of characters. This way your characters will be more 'alive'

Also try to have contrast for characters, so each one is a bit different from the other to keep it interesting. Think of your favorite TV show. You probably have a favorite character because of the way they act or look, and they will be different from the others.

Allready found one:Josh lol.
I have friend on the web who wanted to get his own carachter in the comic, so he became the brown haired snake Josh(wich is his real name) I also got an english friend who is called william burn but calls himself will burn(!!)
I gave him a character aswell:William, the australian parrot who thinks he's an english pigeon!!

Annyways, heres the header...
(BTW bob is trying to hit william with the yoyo[or whateva] on purpose, as william is supposed to be a pain in da arse)

I have one, but that is supposed to open the comic itself, so no one will read it before the comic is up and running.
hopefully it will get up on my birthday (november 13th)

Hey man you should check out the webcomic of a mate of mine. He's done 3 issues, Its called We Could Be Heroes. His style is very like yours man - but its always good to see other's works. This particular one is based on friends of mine and his, comedy. Im not sure what angle yours is on, but it couldnt hurt to check it out. He hasn't got a website or anything but if you message me with ur email then ill send yu a couple episodes, Heres a teaser :P
