View Full Version : What's Your Wallpaper?

Dave

I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

This is my current wallpaper

I always knew you were a bit "spaced out" Dave.

I change mine every now and then, but I always end up going back to this image I found a few years ago. With all of the black space around the outside there is lots of room for icons that do not get lost.

Exciting.. huh?

I tend to keep my backdrops simple these days, takes up less video RAM.

I've been creating wallpaper for my friends website. As I do a new one I install it as mine. Here's the current one.

LOL My current wall paper? I change it all the time. Looking for something new.
Any suggestions?

Dave

Do you remember Webshots?

I had enough images stored to cycle my wallpaper every four hours for at least 10 years without any repeats, probably got even more than that now but none from Webshots anymore.

Cool wallpaper PDG!, and that 2advanced site is freezing it's so cool. I'm not sure it would be safe for an epileptic person, but I sure do like it. It is not often I book-mark sites because of their looks, but I want to see this one again.

PDG

I'm glad you guys like that link. 2Advanced has won so many awards it isn't even funny. Their site is actually several years old! So that gives you a good idea of just how advanced they really are. When they first came out they left everyone speechless. Especially at a time when Flash's future was being heavily questioned.

The 2 advanced graphics website was very cool. Only thing was, the time it took for the graphics to load annoyed me enough to keep me from enjoying the content.

Nice! I'd show you mine but I'm using my mom's computer right now - its not impressive. :) Hey Trin, I was wondering what is the little calendar in your right hand corner? I forget the name of that program. Can't it show you like the weather and stuff too?

1c the program name is Rainlendar, I think it has weather functions but I never bothered with it.

Interesting. The program I was thinking of was Konfabulator. It looks pretty similar. - http://www.konfabulator.com/ I'm not sure I'll get either though. My desktop is already cluttered. :)
