OK guys, I may be way late on this one, but I just loaded Mozilla Firefox for the first time and it ROCKS! I can't believe it took me this long! Seriously, you must try it.

For example -tabbed viewing- now I can keep my three favorite forums and my webmail inbox all loaded in one cute little window so I can quickly monitor each of them!!! What was I thinking sticking with Explorer?

And another: Customize the browser with tons of themes! whoa!

This just made my Friday.

ok ok... back to work.

I really like Firefox on my Mac. The problem is.. it's not always great at handling stylesheets.

I tried Firefox, and really liked it, but I didn't like the fact that the text size was all over the place! I like the fonts and font sizes of the pages I frequent to be consistent...and I don't like really large text. Firefox was really bad in that regard.

did you try hitting

CTL+ + or CTL+ - to increase or decrease text size? (Also works on Safari.)

I did try decreasing and increasing the text. It never hit that "perfect" size for me. It looked so much different than the text I'm used to with IE. I know people holler about IE being a POS...but when you've used it for as long as I have, you get used to things a certain way. I'm a creature of habit...:)

Totally. I totally understand. I tried Firefox once before, ditched it but was drawn to it again somehow. It caught me on a good day. Today I like it. We shall see tomorrow. ;)

I'm a devout Firefox convert. The BB Code extensions, AdBlock and All-In-One Gestures are truly amazing.

Plus, less popups and no ActiveX threats to ever worry about again. Including those damn "Install this crappy app" dialog boxes.

TOTALLY! My routine involves logging into webmail, hitting links to my favorite forums, back and forth, etc. Now with the extension called Session Saver, I save all the pages I want open in tabs. When I return to Firefox later, I just have to call up that saved session and BOOOM, all forums with new posts and my webmail inbox is ready to go. ALL in one window!!! Love it!

Ditto in Safari Blix.

I hit "New Posts" and then run down the list with my command key pressed and each thread opens in a tab behind the open one. Way useful.

Sick, man! I figured Safari was that good. When I get my PowerBook, I will probably be using Safari. For now, it's the best darn browser I can get for Windows. Thanks for the tip, homie!

Now, if they could put a browser volume control on it so i can browse whilst listening to music without having some crappy website plonking all over it, it'd be perfect.

No kidding! It's always a dead give-away that you're not doing work. My co-workers always look over and say something like, "what's that?"

-ooooh and the arcade...... silence those crazy pingu noises!

You're on to something Raphael!

Then how can you hear the CD music you're playing into your headset? :)

School = learn something! Not playing music :)

I like Firefox the best so far.
There are still some things that I have to switch to Safari or IE to view somethings, but it's ok with me. I do not feel that it is that big of a drawback to make me switch from Firefox.
